The Technical Tendering Specialist is a detail-oriented professional who manages the commercial lifecycle, from initial customer inquiry to successful project handover, ensuring every proposal is both technically sound and competitively positioned.

You will drive the preparation of competitive technical-commercial offers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to review specifications, calculate costs, and align our solutions with the clients’ needs.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Analyzing client technical specifications and conducting comprehensive offer reviews in partnership with R&D, purchasing, and project management teams.
• Collaborating directly with Area Sales Managers and Account Managers to provide seamless support and meet the needs of international clients.
• Developing accurate product costing and formulating complete commercial offers from initial market information collection to final submission.
• Negotiating project details, technical requirements, and design variations to enhance our competitive position in the market.
• Facilitating cross-functional kick-off meetings to transfer project details, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to execution.
• Managing customer site visits and participating in public tenders and contracts to expand our market reach.

Skills for Success

You should be a collaborative and detail-oriented professional, with:

• An expertise in electrical, mechanical, or materials engineering, underpinned by a solid understanding of related technical concepts and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• The capability to manage complex tendering processes, navigate SAP systems, and utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in both Italian and English, while knowledge of an additional foreign language such as French, Spanish, or German is a welcome plus.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to continuous improvement and streamlining processes.
• The readiness to travel internationally for business trips to meet clients and support project needs.

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent technical expertise) are essential, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

Fascia retributive: Tra € 31,800 e € 47,700 lordi annui. La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dell'istruzione, delle qualifiche, dell'esperienza e delle competenze del candidato.

The pay range for this position: Between € 31,800 and € 47,700 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.

Eleggibilità per il Piano Bonus: Eligibilità al piano bonus Variabile-AIP, che prevede un incentivo target del 5% della retribuzione base annua, a seconda del raggiungimento dei parametri di business e delle performance individuali.

Eligibility for Bonus Plan: Eligible to participate in Variable-AIP annual bonus plan that provides a target incentive of 5% of the individual’s annual base salary depending on achievement of key business metrics and individual performance.

La posizione sarà inquadrata in conformità al CCNL Metalmeccanico applicato in azienda. Eventuali elementi integrativi al trattamento previsto dal CCNL vigente e/o dalle politiche aziendali applicabili sono riportati di seguito:

A National Collective Bargaining Agreement (‘NCBA’ - Metalworking) is applicable in relation to the position. Below, we indicate the relevant provisions of the remuneration regulations applicable at the Employer. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Stipendio Base: La retribuzione seguirà le tabelle salariali previste dal CCNL di categoria Metalmeccanico Industria

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Metalworking CBA salary scale, which defines job groups and minimum salary levels.

Pensione Integrativa (Cometa): Tutti i livelli sono eligibili, ad eccezione dei dirigenti.
Contributo del datore di lavoro: 2% (2,2% se under 35). Contributo del dipendente: 1,2%. Base di calcolo: retribuzione mensile lorda.

Pension Fund (Cometa): All levels are eligible, except executives (dirigenti).
Employer Contribution: 2% (2.2% if under 35). Employee Contribution: 1.2%. Base: monthly gross salary.

Assistenza Sanitaria (Metasalute): Assistenza sanitaria prevista da CCNL. Il dipendente ha la possibilità di rinunciare alla copertura di base optando per l’assistenza sanitaria integrativa offerta da Generali.

Medical Benefits (Metasalute): Healthcare coverage provided under the NCBA. The employee can choose to be canceled from this basic coverage and be enrolled in the supplementary healthcare coverage offered by Generali.

Straordinario diurno sabato, domenica e festivi: 50% per le prime otto ore, 55% oltre le 8 ore

Straordinario notturno dal lunedì al venerdì:

• 50% per impiegati e operai non turnisti per lavoro straordinario dalle 20:00 alle 8:00
• 50% per operai turnisti per lavoro straordinario dalle 18:00 alle 6:00

Straordinario notturno sabato, domenica e festivi:

• Prime otto ore: 60% per impiegati, 55% per operai non turnisti, 60% per operai turnisti
• Oltre due ore: 75% per impiegati, 65% per operai non turnisti, 75% per operai turnisti

In caso di riposo compensativo, si applicano le maggiorazioni previste dal CCNL

OT Premium:

Daytime overtime Monday to Friday:

• First two hours: 25% for office staff, 30% for non-shift production workers, 40% for shift production workers
• Beyond two hours: 30% for office staff, 50% for non-shift production workers, 45% for shift production workers

Daytime overtime Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: First eight hours: 50%, Beyond eight hours: 55%

Night overtime Monday to Friday

• 50% for office staff and non-shift production workers for overtime worked between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM
• 50% for shift production workers for overtime worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM

Night overtime Saturday, Sunday and public holidays:

• First eight hours: 60% for office staff, 55% for non-shift production workers, 60% for shift production workers
• Beyond eight hours: 75% for office staff, 65% for non-shift production workers, 75% for shift production workers

In case of compensatory time off, the premiums provided for under the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) apply.
