Technical Product Manager (Protocol Analytics & Customer Solutions)
The Role
Corvil Analytics gives the world’s leading financial institutions a uniquely detailed view of the infrastructure, applications and trading workflows that power global capital markets. By turning high-fidelity packet-derived data into practical insight, Corvil helps customers understand performance, troubleshoot complex issues, validate market data quality and uncover opportunities to operate with greater confidence.
This Technical Product Manager role is an opportunity to be creative at the intersection of customers, data and product strategy. The successful candidate will work directly with customers, Sales Engineering, Support and Engineering to explore real-world trading and infrastructure challenges, identify new analytics that deliver meaningful insight, and shape those ideas into product capabilities. The team works in a highly agile environment where new customer issues, exchange changes and market-driven priorities arise weekly, so the role requires someone who is energised by frequent reprioritisation, ambiguity and fast adjustment. It is an exciting role for a strong technologist who wants to move closer to customers, influence the direction of Corvil Analytics and help turn deep technical understanding into differentiated customer value.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the prioritisation of exchange-driven protocol changes and customer-requested enhancements, balancing urgency, commercial value and long-term product direction.
- Own the product conversation for customer-driven protocol and analytics requests, turning customer problems into clear opportunities for differentiated Corvil capability.
- Work directly with customers and Sales Engineering in active opportunities, workshops and proof-of-value engagements to uncover the analytics that matter most in real trading environments.
- Write clear, actionable requirements for Engineering that capture the customer problem, expected behaviour, technical context, priorities and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Support and Engineering to investigate customer enquiries, identify recurring patterns and turn field insight into practical analytics, usability improvements and roadmap opportunities.
- Communicate roadmap priorities, trade-offs and delivery status clearly to Sales, Support, Engineering and leadership stakeholders.
- Operate effectively in a highly agile environment where new customer issues and exchange-driven priorities emerge weekly, requiring regular reassessment of plans and priorities.
- Champion the voice of the customer in product planning, helping ensure Corvil continues to deliver analytics that solve important, real-world problems for demanding financial markets customers.
Education, Skills and Background
- Experience in Product Management, Software Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP), application protocols and observability concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate technical discussions into clear requirements.
- Financial markets or trading technology experience is very advantageous.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers, solving real-world technical challenges and seeing the results quickly reflected in customer outcomes and sales opportunities. They are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, collaborating with engineering teams and balancing commercial priorities with technical requirements. They need to be curious, able to learn about client environments, willing to engage with deep technical detail and happy working in a fast-moving team where priorities can change frequently as new issues arise.
Working Arrangements
This is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. This role involves regular engagement with customers and cross-functional teams across multiple regions. Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, workshops and industry events.
Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).
