  • Teach team members how to read and follow prints, schematics, weld symbols, standard work instructions, and other technical documentation.

  • Support training related to HVAC and pre-conditioned air systems, including mechanical, electrical, and brazing processes.

  • Facilitate Level 1 and Level 2 high-voltage safety training.

  • Coach team members on quality expectations, inspection techniques, troubleshooting, and identifying manufacturing discrepancies.

  • Create hands-on, written, online, and LIVE manufacturing training.

  • Develop training aids, props, demonstrations, and other creative learning tools that make technical concepts easier to understand.

  • Identify skill gaps through Training Needs and Task Analyses and develop solutions using the ADDIE training model.

  • Teach team members how to navigate manufacturing and technical systems such as JDE2, Pierce Truck Builder, and ProPlanner.

  • Partner with production employees, subject matter experts, other trainers, and leadership to continuously improve training.

  • Help build a manufacturing culture focused on safety, quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

  • Work a flexible schedule when needed to support team members across multiple shifts.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and with leadership remotely

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • A willingness to learn new products, processes, technologies, and training methods.

EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

You don't need to check every box. Experience in one or more of these areas can help you succeed in this role:

  • Training, mentoring, coaching, or teaching others in a manufacturing or skilled-trades environment.

  • MIG or TIG welding of aluminum and steel, including pulse-spray welding.

  • Mechanical or vehicle assembly.

  • HVAC, refrigeration, brazing, or pre-conditioned air systems.

  • Electrical systems or high-voltage vehicle technology.

  • Experience with Pierce products, Pierce Truck Builder, ProPlanner, JDE2, or Volterra systems.
