The Technical Analyst is responsible for delivering technical solutions that enable global Life Sciences organizations to successfully adopt and utilize IDBS software. As part of the Professional Services organization, this role supports the implementation, integration, testing, and operational readiness of IDBS products, including IDBS E-WorkBook and IDBS Polar, while partnering with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and drive successful customer outcomes.
This position reports to the Regional Services Operations Manager and is part of the Global Professional Services team based in Bengaluru, India. This is an on-site role. You will work with enterprise integrations, APIs, data exchange, testing, and solution delivery to support complex laboratory informatics implementations for global Life Sciences customers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support the implementation, configuration, and integration of IDBS software solutions, including E-WorkBook and Polar, for leading global Life Sciences organizations.
- Collaborate with customers, architects, and engineering teams to gather technical requirements, design solution approaches, and deliver integrations between IDBS platforms and enterprise applications, laboratory systems, and cloud services.
- Work with APIs, data exchange processes, authentication methods, and system configurations to support implementation activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve integration challenges.
- Contribute to testing, validation, deployment, and go-live activities, including integration testing, API validation, defect investigation, and operational readiness for customer environments.
- Create technical documentation, data mappings, knowledge assets, and customer handover materials while proactively identifying risks, improving delivery processes, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and quality.
Required qualifications and experience:
- 1-2 years of experience supporting SaaS or enterprise software applications in a technical analysis, application support, implementation or integration-focused role.
- Exposure to system integrations, APIs, technical troubleshooting, testing, deployment, or production support activities.
- Foundational knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, authentication concepts, and data exchange processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams and customers across multiple time zones.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience supporting laboratory informatics, scientific software, LIMS, ELN, or other Life Sciences technology platforms.
- Knowledge of XML, CSV, data mapping, scripting, or interface troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting defect triage, go-live, hypercare, or transition-to-support activities.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity tools to support documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, or implementation activities.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to [5%] including occasional overnight travel.
Bonus / Incentive Pay
This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
