Job Description:

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll lead the recruiting process from start to finish, including:

• Partnering with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer presentation.
• Building strong candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Conducting behavioral-based interviews to identify top talent that aligns with La-Z-Boy's culture, values, and leadership expectations.
• Delivering a best-in-class candidate experience throughout every stage of the hiring journey.
• Leveraging recruitment marketing, data, and analytics to attract diverse, high-quality talent.
• Supporting internship programs, university recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and community outreach events.
• Maintaining compliance with employment laws, recruiting policies, and applicant tracking processes.
• Collaborating with HR Business Partners and hiring leaders to develop competitive employment offers.
• Providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders regarding hiring progress, market trends, and talent pipelines.

 

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Workday, Oracle, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Recruiting sourcing websites or similar platforms.
• Experience using recruiting metrics and data analytics to drive hiring decisions.
