What You Would Get To Do
A Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for finding, recruiting, and hiring the best people for an organisation. They work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective ways to find qualified candidates. They work closely with other People functions to ensure a smooth recruitment experience for hiring managers and candidates.
Your Contributions
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for assigned requisitions, including candidate evaluation and offer negotiation.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers to understand team needs, execute agreed hiring strategies, and bring top talent into FIRST.
- Guide hiring teams on recruitment best practices and ensure all interviews are conducted with candidate care as a top priority.
- Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles, actively seeking talent from diverse communities and non-traditional channels to broaden representation and improve hiring outcomes.
- Draft, refine, and publish job postings in collaboration with P&C Business Partners.
- Proactively monitor aging requisitions and initiate timely escalations with hiring teams & talent acquisition management when roles exceed agreed-upon days open.
- Source and attract passive candidates utilizing appropriate platforms.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) for job postings, reviewing applicants, creating offer letters, and communicating new hires to relevant stakeholders, whilst maintaining data integrity.
- Contribute to recruitment-related projects and initiatives.
- Advise hiring teams on trends, best practices, and regulations, and ensure all interviews are conducted in accordance with high candidate care as a top priority.
- Recommend improvements to the recruitment process based on observations and feedback.
- Proactively manage competing priorities across multiple business areas.
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Extensive recruitment experience in an agency or internal recruiting role
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices
- Proficiency in using MS Office, Google software, Greenhouse, or other ATS platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven relationship-building
- Ability to use data, metrics, and evidence to inform and provide recommendations
- Resilient multi-tasker
- Application of sound judgment and professionalism
- Maintaining high ethical practices and confidentiality
