The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking an experienced Travel & Expense professional to serve as the T&E Operations Lead. This highly independent role owns the day-to-day operation, quality, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Travel & Expense and corporate-card programs.
The T&E Operations Lead combines hands-on operational ownership with system and process leadership. The role oversees intelligent-audit and outsourced exception-management processes, identifies and resolves operational issues, partners with internal stakeholders and external providers, and drives scalable improvements to controls, workflows, and employee experience. The role partners closely with management on enterprise priorities, material-risk decisions, policy direction, and major cross-functional initiatives.

Lead the day-to-day T&E operating model, including expense compliance, corporate-card operations, employee support, policy administration, and operational controls.

Oversee the quality, accuracy, consistency, turnaround time, and control effectiveness of intelligent-audit and outsourced exception-management processes; investigate complex exceptions, unusual spend, recurring issues, and higher-risk matters, escalating as appropriate.

Own the administration and continuous improvement of the corporate-card program, including cardholder lifecycle management, transaction monitoring, policy compliance, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.

Serve as the primary operational subject-matter expert and point of contact for employees, managers, Finance, Payroll, Accounting, and external partners on T&E, corporate cards, travel, and expense-policy matters.

Identify root causes, control gaps, system issues, and process-improvement opportunities; develop and implement practical solutions that improve automation, accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.

Work directly with Concur, outsourced service providers, travel partners, and internal teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, configure or recommend solutions, and test, validate, and implement approved enhancements.

Translate business and policy requirements into scalable audit rules, workflows, controls, procedures, training materials, and user guidance.

Prepare recurring operational reporting and analysis on expense activity, compliance trends, exceptions, program performance, and emerging risks; support management’s broader enterprise analysis and leadership reporting.

Maintain current documentation, controls, procedures, and training materials; support compliance reviews and audit requests.

Provide day-to-day work direction, training, quality oversight, and performance support for assigned T&E support team members as team expands.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

3–5+ years of experience in Travel & Expense or a related function.

Strong experience with Concur T&E (required).

Experience managing or supporting corporate card programs (preferred).

Experience with Sunshine Act or Stark Law reporting (strongly preferred).

Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and working with large datasets.

Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage end-to-end processes.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support users and collaborate cross-functionally.
