Lead the technology investments that power Telstra's field workforce

We're looking for an experienced Systems Solutions Delivery Lead to lead a portfolio of technology investments that support Telstra's field operations.
This is more than a delivery leadership role. You'll help shape how technology investments are prioritised, governed, and delivered to improve workforce productivity, operational performance, customer outcomes and the experience of our frontline teams.
Working across Operations, Product, Architecture and Engineering, you'll translate strategy into execution, ensuring our technology roadmap delivers measurable business value and enables the future field workforce.
The Opportunity
Lead the portfolio that connects technology strategy, investment decisions, and delivery outcomes across Telstra's field services ecosystem.
You'll provide visibility, governance, and leadership across a complex portfolio of initiatives, helping teams focus on the highest-value opportunities while ensuring investments deliver meaningful operational and customer outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading a portfolio of field systems, workforce, and operational technology initiatives from concept through to value realisation.
Driving investment governance, portfolio prioritisation, and executive decision-making.
Partnering with operational leaders to align technology investments with business priorities and customer outcomes.
Providing visibility of portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, resources, and benefits.
Leading multidisciplinary teams across project delivery, business analysis, architecture, change and PMO functions.
Building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Enabling improvements across workforce management, planning and scheduling, mobility, field enablement, skills, compliance, and operational data platforms.
What Makes You Successful
You're a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture while maintaining a strong focus on execution.
You'll bring:
Extensive leadership experience across technology portfolio management, enterprise PMO, program delivery or strategic execution.
A proven ability to lead multiple complex technology initiatives simultaneously while driving successful outcomes.
Strong people leadership experience across delivery, business analysis, PMO or governance functions.
Commercial and financial acumen, including investment planning, forecasting, business cases and benefits realisation.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complexity with confidence.
Experience working across portfolio, program, agile, product and service transition environments.
Relevant qualifications or certifications such as PfMP, MoP, MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent experience.
You'll play a key role in ensuring Telstra's field workforce has the technology, data and capabilities needed to safely and efficiently deliver for our customers.
