About the role

The NCAP Technician prepares vehicles and test equipment for Euro NCAP and other ADAS tests. The technician supports test activities and makes sure that all equipment is ready, safe, and working correctly before each test. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Prepare test vehicles for Euro NCAP and ADAS testing. 
• Install sensors, cameras, DGPS systems, and other test equipment. 
• Prepare and calibrate driving robots, soft targets, and measurement systems. 
• Check that vehicles and equipment are ready before testing. 
• Support test execution according to test procedures. 
• Monitor equipment during testing and solve basic technical problems. 
• Record calibration and maintenance of test equipment. 
• Support data collection after testing. 
• Work together with test engineers, project leaders, vehicle modification team, and customers. 
• Help investigate technical issues found during testing. 
• Follow all safety and quality rules. 
• Keep test equipment clean, maintained, and ready for use. 
• Help improve testing methods and processes. 

Required Knowledge and Skills 

Technical Skills 

• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and ADAS. 
• Basic understanding of Euro NCAP testing. 
• Experience with measurement equipment is an advantage (DGPS, CAN, sensors, data loggers). 
• Basic electrical and mechanical skills. 
• Basic knowledge of CAN communication is an advantage. 
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office). 

Personal Skills 

• Careful and responsible. 
• Good attention to detail. 
• Able to solve technical problems. 
• Good communication skills. 
• Team player. 
• Flexible and willing to work outside in different weather conditions.
• Able to manage several tasks at the same time. 

Qualifications 

• Technical secondary school or university degree in automotive, electronics, mechanics, or a related field. 
• Driving licence (Category B). 
• Experience in automotive testing is an advantage. 
• English language – intermediate level (B1) and Czech language
