Payments were just the beginning; today Mama Money is building the fuller financial toolkit our customers need, all under one roof.
Mama HQ is in beautiful Cape Town. We're 159 people strong (and counting), representing 19 countries across Africa, Asia, the UK, and Europe. The role, in short:
You'll own the systems that everyone at Mama Money depends on but nobody thinks about until they break: identity and access, endpoints, VPN, SaaS administration, and the operational evidence our ISMS the regulators require.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You're not filing tickets into someone else's queue, you're the person who decides how access is granted and revoked, and how we prove all of it during an audit.
Some of this you’ll inherit and improve, but most of it you’ll build from scratch. A big part of the role is documenting and explaining, so clear writing matters as much as technical depth. After-hours: Occasional after-hours work may be needed to respond to incidents.
