In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) leads supplier quality management for assigned suppliers, owning the resolution of supplier-related quality issues identified by Manufacturing and driving timely corrective actions to prevent production disruptions. The role is accountable for supplier quality performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring supplier quality issues are resolved effectively with minimal impact to product quality, manufacturing cycle time, and business operations.
Support supplier quality activities, including supplier performance monitoring, non-conformance management, corrective actions, audits, and NPI readiness, while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to drive quality improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Supplier Quality Engineering, and knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and ISO 9001.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Supplier Quality or a similar role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality tools and methodologies: Root Cause Analysis 8D CAPA Statistical Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
