Responsabilités:

• Responsable d’une équipe de 10 superviseurs aux opérations.

• Responsable de gérer un quart de travail comportant plus de 150 collègues syndiqués

• Maximise à la fois la rationalisation des coûts d'opérations, la satisfaction de la clientèle et le bien-être du personnel.

• Organise, coordonne et contrôle les activités courantes relatives aux opérations

• S’assure de l’application et de la gestion des activités ressources humaines de sa

• relève, (SST, planification, embauche, formation, évaluations, coaching, parrainage).

• Est en constante communication avec les autres membres de l’équipe de

• gestionnaires du centre de distribution, dans le but de maintenir un niveau de gestion efficace et uniforme.

• Animation des réunions de SST et d’opérations hebdomadairement

• S’assure du respect des politiques et normes en vigueur dans son secteur.

• Voit à l’exactitude et à la qualité des opérations à court terme.

Exigences du poste

• La personne titulaire du poste doit posséder un D.E.C. et cinq (5) années d'expérience dans la gestion des opérations d'un centre de distribution. Toute autre combinaison de scolarité et expérience sera prise en considération.

• À ces compétences vous possédez une expérience dans la gestion d'employés dans un contexte syndiqué, vous êtes habile communicateur, vous avez un sens poussé de l’organisation, de la planification et du suivi du travail d’une équipe. Finalement, vous êtes reconnu pour votre leadership.

• La connaissance du système informatique WMS et le bilinguisme serait un atout.

Position Overview
 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the daily operational activities of their shift while considering employee well-being, customer satisfaction, and the objectives of the Distribution Centre.
 

Employment Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: 6h00 am. to 4:00 p.m. (4 days : Friday to Monday)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 Operations Supervisors.

• Manage a shift consisting of more than 150 unionized colleagues.

• Optimize operating costs while maintaining customer satisfaction and employee well-being.

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day operational activities.

• Ensure the implementation and management of human resources activities for the shift, including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), workforce planning, hiring, training, performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.

• Maintain ongoing communication with other members of the Distribution Centre management team to ensure consistent and effective management practices.

• Lead weekly OHS and operations meetings.

• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards within the department.

• Ensure the accuracy and quality of short-term operations.
   

Job Requirements

• The successful candidate must hold a Diploma of College Studies (D.E.C.) and have five (5) years of experience managing operations in a distribution centre. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

• In addition, you have experience managing employees in a unionized environment, are an effective communicator, and possess strong organizational, planning, and team follow-up skills. You are also recognized for your leadership abilities.

• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and bilingualism would be considered assets.
