About the Role

The Subcontracts Administrator II is responsible for managing the lifecycle of subcontracts from initial solicitation through contract close-out. This role includes developing subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, negotiating contract terms, and managing supplier relationships. They will have intermediate knowledge of subcontract management and contract law, an understanding of cost analysis, pricing, and proposal evaluations, and familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.

In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of moderate to complex subcontract agreements, ensuring effective oversight from initiation to closeout. You will conduct cost and price analyses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing while monitoring subcontractor performance and compliance with contract requirements, taking corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, you will manage various contract types, including Fixed Firm Price (FFP), Cost Plus, and Time and Materials (T&M), and negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors to achieve favorable agreements. Collaborating with leadership, suppliers, and external personnel, you will handle matters requiring coordination between functional organizations to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products.
• EPR/MRP experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of subcontract management and contract law.
• Understanding of cost analysis, pricing, and proposal evaluations.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex subcontract agreements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: SCM-related certifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Extensive experience with SAP.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with advanced subcontracting strategies and best practices.
• Proven track record of managing high-value and complex subcontract agreements.

 

 

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$76,332.00 - $104,956.50

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
