Structural Steel QC Inspector – 1st Shift
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 1st Shift
Starting Pay: Up to $32/hour, depending on experience
Position Summary
We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector with structural steel fabrication experience to monitor and verify the quality of fabricated steel, welding, and coating work.
This is a hands-on shop-floor position. Most of the work will be performed in an active manufacturing environment rather than an office, so candidates should be comfortable working around production equipment and in a facility with varying temperatures.

Required Qualifications
- Fillet weld gauges
- V-WAC gauges
- Squares
- Tape measures
- Other standard inspection tools
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining quality and safe work practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
- Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Additional certifications involving structural steel fabrication, bolting, coatings, or welding inspection
- Previous experience working in a steel manufacturing or fabrication environment
