About the Role

You will shape the market strategy and positioning of core banking solutions for financial institutions across Asia Pacific. You will connect banking transformation priorities with capabilities spanning deposits, lending, customer management, payments, accounting and digital channels. Working with sales, solution consulting and product teams, you will influence strategic opportunities and regional go-to-market plans. Success will be measured through qualified pipeline, differentiated positioning, executive engagement and sales outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Shape regional strategies for core banking modernisation, transformation and platform adoption.

• Advise clients on retail, commercial and corporate core banking operating models and technology priorities.

• Translate banking requirements into differentiated solution propositions, transformation narratives and executive-level business outcomes.

• Support opportunity qualification, account planning and complex pursuits involving core replacement or progressive modernisation.

• Develop market-facing messaging covering deposits, lending, customer records, product configuration, accounting and transaction processing.

• Position modern banking capabilities including cloud deployment, application programming interfaces, microservices and event-driven integration.

• Lead executive discussions on scalability, resilience, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and customer experience.

• Coordinate solution demonstrations, use-case walkthroughs, proposals and responses to client information requests.

• Analyse market trends, competitor capabilities and client feedback to influence product strategy and regional priorities.

• Connect sales, solution consulting, product, engineering and professional services throughout the opportunity lifecycle.

What You'll Bring:

• Extensive experience in core banking, banking technology, solution strategy, presales or enterprise software sales.

• Deep knowledge of deposits, lending, customer information, accounting, payments and product lifecycle management.

• Understanding of retail, commercial or corporate banking operations and transformation priorities.

• Ability to develop core banking value propositions, market positioning and go-to-market strategies.

• Experience engaging executive, business, operations, architecture, risk and technology stakeholders.

• Strong consultative discovery, opportunity qualification, presentation and solution storytelling skills.

• Ability to analyse complex requirements and connect them with practical, scalable banking solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and relevant professional experience.

Advantage If You Have:

• Experience with core banking replacement, migration, consolidation or progressive modernisation programmes.

• Knowledge of cloud-native platforms, microservices, application programming interfaces and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with deposit and loan processing, limits and collateral, reconciliation and regulatory reporting.

• Experience supporting complex proposals, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and commercial business cases.

• Understanding of the Asia Pacific core banking market, regulatory environment and competitive landscape.
