The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cashier team to ensure efficient, accurate, and friendly checkout service for customers. They supervise, train, and support cashiers while ensuring compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and customer service standards.

₋        Implement Tawfeer’s established policies and procedures and comply with Tawfeer’s other policies

-         Supervise and coordinate the activities of all front-end cashiers.

-         Ensure proper staffing levels at checkout counters based on store traffic.

-         Train new cashiers on POS systems, company procedures, and customer service standards.

-         Monitor cashier performance and provide coaching, support, and disciplinary action when necessary

-         Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.

-         Conduct regular audits of cash registers and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliation.

-         Ensure all cash handling and transaction procedures comply with store policies.

-         Assist with opening and closing procedures for the front-end area.

-         Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area.

-         Support front-end staff during peak hours or busy periods as needed.

-         Generate daily cashier reports and report discrepancies to management.

-         Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues.

Requirements

-         High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).

-         Minimum 0–3 years of experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.

-         Proven experience as a cashier or in a supervisory role within a retail environment.

-         Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.

-         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-         Strong leadership and team management abilities.

-         High attention to detail and accuracy.

-         Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
