About the Department
Job Information
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Stock Clerk (SCI) holds a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse operations. The SCI is responsible for regularly performing a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and shipping of books to customers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking orders from warehouse shelves based on customer and client requests.
- Efficiently packing orders to ensure secure and safe shipping.
- Preparing shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments.
- Collaborating closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Conducting regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and current.
- Assisting with the receiving and unpacking of incoming shipments.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Additional Responsibilities
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Education:
- High school diploma from an accredited institution or a GED certificate required.
Experience:
- Warehouse order fulfillment experience preferred.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
- Familiarity or previous experience with scan guns preferred.
- Ability to read and calculate simple mathematical problems required.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment.
- Exposure to moving machinery.
- High dust, dirt environment.
- High noise environment.
Pay Range:
- $17.73 - $18.91 per hour
