The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

The San Diego Innovation Center is where new technologies, manufacturing processes, and product innovations are transformed from concept into scalable production solutions. Our pilot plant serves as the bridge between research and commercial manufacturing, enabling rapid experimentation, process development, technology transfer, and operational readiness for future growth.

As a Staff Planner, you will play a critical role in orchestrating complex pilot plant activities across R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Manufacturing. You will help ensure the right materials, equipment, resources, and schedules are aligned to accelerate innovation while maintaining operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic priorities, optimize resource utilization, and drive successful execution across a highly dynamic environment.

Where you come in:

  • You develop and maintain integrated production, development, and resource schedules supporting pilot manufacturing, process development, engineering builds, validation activities, and technology transfer programs.

  • You serve as the primary planning coordinator across Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management to ensure alignment of priorities and execution plans.

  • You coordinate material readiness and inventory planning activities to ensure availability of components and supplies required for pilot plant operations.

  • You drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, scheduling methodologies, system utilization, and operational efficiency.

  • You act as a planning subject matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations that influence operational and strategic decisions across the Innovation Center.

  • You facilitate planning reviews and communicate schedule status, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to leadership and project teams.

  • You proactively identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and material risks, driving mitigation plans to maintain project milestones and operational commitments.

What makes you successful:

  • You have demonstrated success managing complex planning activities in manufacturing, pilot plant, supply chain, engineering, or product development environments.

  • You possess strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management, and operational execution principles.

  • You have the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct authority.

  • You are skilled at navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and making sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • You bring strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to identify risks, develop scenarios, and support decision making.

  • Your communication and stakeholder management skills enable you to effectively engage technical and operational leaders at multiple levels.

  • You have experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent manufacturing planning platforms.

  • You demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications.

  • You have experience supporting new product introduction, technology transfer, process development, or pilot-scale manufacturing activities.

  • Your continuous improvement mindset drives process optimization and operational excellence across planning and execution functions.

  • You have APICS / ASCM Certifications (CPIM strongly preferred or CSCP)

What you’ll get:

  • A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.

  • A full and comprehensive benefits program.

  • Growth opportunities on a global scale.

  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.

  • An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
