Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team with a highly competitive salary range up to £46,581.47 depending upon experience.
This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week.
This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:
- Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000
- Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800
- Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800

You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team with specialisms in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery with some vascular as well as cardiac/medical conditions, also digestive diseases including liver and robotics and other specialties that require continuous monitoring and treatment. Cleveland Clinic London specialise in the latest diagnostic techniques and treatments for gastrointestinal diseases. Using advanced endoscopy, our specialists assess and treat cysts, polyps or early-stage cancers. We also offer minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for less pain and a quicker recovery.
What will your duties include:
- Planning the delivery of patient care and taking responsibility for implementing and evaluating that care, using an appropriate nursing model.
- Providing advice and education to patients, staff and learners within the directorate as required.
- Developing communication networks across specialties and throughout the multidisciplinary team.
- Prioritising tasks effectively, including the workload of others where required, such as learners and Healthcare Assistants.
- Administering patient medication safely and effectively, in line with CCL Policy, including the administration of intravenous medication.
What we need from you:
- Nursing Bachelor’s Degree (Essential).
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice (Essential).
- Experience in the field of Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery and Digestive Diseases.
- Wide range of experience working in acute care specialities including cardiac and cardiothoracic, renal, and GI surgery.
