Staff Field Applications Engineer

About the Role
As a Staff Field Applications Engineer at ADI, you will provide strategic technical leadership and expertise to support our most critical customers in designing and implementing complex ADI solutions. You'll serve as a distinguished technical authority bridging ADI technology with customer needs, leading pre-sales and implementation activities for strategic accounts. This role requires exceptional technical depth, system-level understanding, and leadership capabilities as you'll guide development teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to product strategy based on deep customer insights and market trends.
 

1. Technical Leadership in Industrial Ethernet

• Industrial Ethernetソリューション（TSN、Gigabit Ethernet、10BASE-T1L、Single Pair Ethernet等）の技術サポートを担当
• PHY、Switch、Network Synchronization製品の技術提案および顧客設計支援
• 顧客のシステムアーキテクチャ設計段階から参画し、ソリューション提案をリード

2. Customer Design & Debug Support

• 産業機器、ロボット、PLC、モーションコントロール、プロセスオートメーション顧客への技術サポート
• HW/SWレベルでの設計レビュー、デバッグ、性能評価支援
• 顧客開発チームとの技術課題解決およびDesign Win獲得

3. TSN & Networking Subject Matter Expert

• IEEE TSN（802.1AS、Qbv、Qci等）に関する技術エキスパートとして活動
• 顧客および営業チーム向け技術トレーニングの実施
• 次世代産業ネットワーク技術動向の把握と社内展開

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Sales、Marketing、Business Unit、Applications Engineeringと連携し顧客プロジェクトを推進
• 日本国内およびグローバル開発チームとの技術連携
• 顧客要求を製品ロードマップへフィードバック

Required Qualifications

• Ethernet PHY、Industrial Ethernet、TSNの実務経験
• ネットワークプロトコル（TCP/IP、PROFINET、EtherCAT、EtherNet/IP等）の知識
• 電気・電子・通信系の学位または同等の経験
• 日本語ネイティブレベル、英語での技術コミュニケーション能力
• FAE、アプリケーションエンジニア、システムエンジニアとして5年以上の経験
