The Faulkner Automotive Group is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Staff Accountant/Deal Coster to join our team! As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting operations of multiple Faulkner dealerships! You will process and/or reconcile manufacturer incentives for all new vehicle sales transactions. You will also calculate earned commissions for all new and used vehicles sales transactions. It is very important that the Staff Accountant verifies information regarding all vehicle sales with the Sales Managers and Accounting Managers and ensures compliance with manufacturer programs!

The typical schedule for a Staff Accountant is Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide accurate commission information to payroll on a weekly basis.

• Regularly follows up with sales managers to ensure all sales documentation has been received prior to calculating commission payments.

• Assures complete and appropriate documentation is transmitted to manufacturer. Regularly follows up with manufacturers for payment of incentives.

• Responsible for the timely processing of all extended warranties and after-market contracts.

• Additional accounting duties as assigned. May include items like: daily bank reconciliation, tracking F&I reserve schedules, cash handling responsibilities, Contracts, Deposits, etc.

Requirements

• High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a general office setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet all deadlines.
• Must have the ability to work well with all levels of staff and management.
• Effective organization and prioritization skills.
• Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
