The individual should be comfortable understanding problems across applications, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, security, access, and reporting, while partnering with specialist teams where deeper expertise is required.

Your Responsibilities:

Operations Excellence & IT Operations

  • Act as a primary technology contact for assigned EKS applications, platforms, and services.

  • Administer and govern technology services including infrastructure, security groups, GitHub teams, Power BI workspaces, support groups, and related access.

  • Review and approve appropriate EKS technology, access, and support requests.

  • Manage and coordinate ITSM processes including Incidents, Changes, and Problems.

  • Identify recurring operational issues and drive improvements to reliability, efficiency, and user experience.

Technical Problem Resolution & Engineering Support

  • Investigate and help resolve complex technical issues across applications, cloud platforms, databases, analytics, and enterprise technology services.

  • Act as a technical problem-solving partner for EKS Business Operations, Analytics, Engineering teams, and vendors.

  • Troubleshoot issues involving technologies such as Azure, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise applications.

  • Work with technical specialists to identify root cause, define resolution paths, and ensure actions are completed.

  • Provide technical guidance to Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders when technology decisions or assessments are required.

Cloud, Infrastructure & Technology Initiatives

  • Support and lead technology initiatives across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and enterprise infrastructure.

  • Drive initiatives such as operating system upgrades, cloud security assessments, infrastructure improvements, and technology health checks.

  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Data, IAM, and Security teams to implement improvements.

  • Security Engineering & Risk Reduction

  • Review and assess Critical and High security alerts impacting EKS applications and technology environments.

  • Partner with InfoSec, IAM, Infrastructure, and other technology teams to investigate and remediate security risks.

  • Support implementation of security improvements such as access control enhancements, credential management, and authentication hardening.

  • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to closure.

  • DataOps & Technology Cost Optimization

  • Support and lead DataOps initiatives, including Databricks-related operational and cost optimization activities.

  • Analyze technology usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.

  • Partner with Data, Cloud, Engineering, and vendors to implement optimization measures.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key technical liaison between EKS teams and external technology vendors.

  • Use technical understanding to challenge vendor recommendations and identify gaps.

  • Proactively follow up on outstanding vendor actions and escalate when required.

  • Ensure vendor dependencies and blockers are identified early and driven to closure.

Engineering Visibility, Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and enhance operational and technology reports to provide actionable visibility into EKS environments.

  • Support reporting around security posture, incidents, operational health, technology usage, and cost optimization.

  • Act as an in-house Power BI resource for EKS where required.

  • Ensure reporting data is accurate, reliable, and actionable.

Application Modernization & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to application and technology modernization initiatives.

  • Work with vendors and internal engineering teams during application upgrades, improvements, and technical changes.

Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration

  • Participate in technical reviews and technology assessments.

  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture, security, and technology standards.

  • Collaborate effectively with IAM, Infrastructure, Data, InfoSec, Engineering, Mobile Deployment, and other enterprise teams.

  • What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

·

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5–8 years of experience in enterprise technology operations, application operations/support, cloud operations, application engineering, or a related technology role.

  • Strong experience in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution within enterprise environments.

  • Knowledge of relational database concepts, integration technologies, application interfaces, and enterprise technology environments.

  • Working knowledge of at least one public cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

  • Experience working with third-party vendors in a large enterprise organization.
