As Sr. Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Lead the development of complex electronics assemblies from concept development through production deployment.
- Design high-performance digital and mixed-signal hardware supporting RF systems, communications equipment, telemetry systems, and related applications.
- Develop circuits utilizing FPGAs, microprocessors, microcontrollers, memory devices, and other programmable technologies.
- Create detailed schematics, component selections, and supporting documentation for advanced electronic designs.
- Design and optimize multilayer PCBs, including high-speed digital, RF, power distribution, and mixed-signal architectures.
- Perform engineering analyses such as signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and worst-case circuit assessments.
- Develop hardware bring-up strategies, integration procedures, and design verification plans.
- Execute board-level validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
- Support manufacturing transition activities, including production readiness reviews and collaboration with manufacturing and test teams.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues identified during development, integration, testing, and production.
- Partner with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to ensure successful product development.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers while supporting engineering best practices and design standards.
Qualifications;
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience designing, analyzing, and testing board-level electronics.
- Experience developing high-reliability hardware for aerospace, defense, space, or other mission-critical applications.Strong background in digital and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Experience selecting components, performing trade studies, and driving designs from concept through release.
- Demonstrated success transitioning electronic hardware into production environments.
- Experience designing complex multilayer circuit boards, including high-density and high-speed architectures.
- Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and electrical performance analysis methodologies.
- Proficiency with PCB design and schematic capture tools such as Altium Designer.
- Strong laboratory skills including board bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of software, firmware, and mechanical integration considerations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Salary Range: $140K - $180K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
