• Job Title: Sr. Direct Tax Lead
• Job Summary: Leads the Company's direct tax compliance, tax accounting, reporting, and advisory activities, including federal, state, international, and withholding tax matters. Serves as the primary direct tax resource for the organization and partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors on strategic tax initiatives, international tax matters, and global reporting requirements.

What you’ll do

• Lead and oversee U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings across all jurisdictions.
• Serve as the primary owner of international tax compliance activities and coordinate global filings with external advisors and regional stakeholders.
• Lead the preparation and review of tax provisions and related ASC 740 tax accounting processes.
• Own withholding tax compliance, including Forms 1042, 1042-S, W-8 documentation, and related reporting obligations.
• Support global tax reporting requirements, including Pillar Two compliance, Global Information Return (GIR) filings, tax haven analyses, and other international tax initiatives.
• Monitor developments in global tax policy and assess potential impacts to the Company's international tax profile and reporting obligations.
• Partner with external service providers to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and deliverables globally.
• Act as the primary point of contact for federal, state, and international tax audits, notices, examinations, and controversy matters.
• Research, interpret, and communicate the impact of tax legislation, regulatory changes, and emerging tax developments on the Company.
• Evaluate the tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, legal entity changes, and new business models, and provide practical recommendations.
• Drive tax process improvement, automation, data management, and technology initiatives to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support scalability.
• Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures, documentation, and internal controls.
• Build and manage relationships with external advisors and service providers to ensure high-quality tax support and compliance.
• Manage tax calendars, maintain supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
• Lead special projects and strategic tax initiatives as business needs evolve.

What you’ll bring

• Eight (8)+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including significant experience in direct tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax advisory.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Strong experience with international tax compliance and cross-border tax considerations.
• Strong experience with ASC 740 tax accounting and quarterly and annual tax provision processes.
• Experience managing withholding tax requirements, including Forms 1042, 1042-S, and W-8 documentation.
• Familiarity with Pillar Two, global minimum tax rules, GIR reporting, tax haven analyses, and other international tax developments.
• Experience managing tax audits, controversy matters, and relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex tax workstreams and drive projects to completion with limited oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical tax concepts into practical business recommendations and influence stakeholder decision-making.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $104,000.00 - $139,000.00 per year. The full range is $104,000.00 - $188,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
