As the Sr. CAD Designer you will be responsible for;
- Provide CAD drawing support throughout the product development lifecycle using SolidWorks.
- Generate, modify, and maintain product models, engineering drawings, and associated documentation.
- Review CAD designs and drawings to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain mechanical digital design files and engineering drawings.
- Prepare, process, and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Input and manage hardware structures and associated documentation within Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support product development and release activities.
Qualifications;
- Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design Technology, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD Designer, CAD Drafter, or similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software; SolidWorks experience strongly preferred.
- Experience creating and modifying product models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and product specifications.
- Experience working with collaboration and workflow management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in deadline-driven environments.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Salary Range: $83K-$97K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
