Job Overview:
As Senior Analyst of Overlay Portfolio Management Group, you will focus on the competencies that deliver on enterprise-wide projects, specifically focusing on the delivery and implementation of the LPL Tax Overlay Program. You will manage several initiatives simultaneously and deliver the OPMG deliverables by the stated deadlines. You will be required to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders to uphold the success of the stated business objectives. Your key role is a balance of communication and tactical execution.
Responsibilities:
Represent OPMG/Trading in large enterprise projects to explain the level of impact changes will have
Create trainings, presentations and engage, both one on one and in group settings, with advisors to explain and educate on the Tax Overlay Program.
Contribute to developing business strategy that allows for transition of firms to be seamless
Support implementation of multifaceted roadmap goals within OPMG, ensuring that the tax overlay projects meet deadlines
Manage cross functional relationships with key enterprise stakeholders
Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive leadership
Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach were necessary
Act as the senior trader and participate in trading responsibilities, including identifying client accounts for optimization (potential trading), execution of trade instructions, review & recommend transactions based on established guidelines, and consolidate & execute transactions across accounts for execution and allocation.
Represent the tax overlay team and OPMG in discussions with business, product management, and technology partners to define and test process and technology improvements expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment process.
Conduct analysis and create transition analysis reports for accounts interested in enrolling in the tax overlay program.
Present completed transition analysis reports to Advisors, pitching the program and walking through their transition plan.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of investment management operations and practices with particular emphasis on unified managed accounts including trading and portfolio accounting systems
Experience speaking to large audiences, up to 500 people
Experience creating Power Point Presentations for various audience types including executive audiences and the public
Knowledge of financial markets, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, and hedge funds
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.
Expert level knowledge of Excel and Power Point
Core Competencies:
Knowledge of LPL Advisory Account management processes, procedures, and systems
Interest in, or progress towards, CFA designation
Understanding of multi-factor risk models and optimization
Understanding of Modern Portfolio Theory
Communicate concisely objectives, outcomes, and progress
