About the role
Experienced Delivery Assurance professional. Manages tracking and shipping processes. Responsible for implementing solutions and process improvements for shipment and supplier issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Monitoring: Track the flow of critical parts through supplier facilities from raw materials to final delivery.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain disruptions early and build recovery plans for shortages or capacity constraints.
- Expediting & Reporting: Provide daily status reports, maintain open order reports, and brief leadership on delivery commitments.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate reasons for delivery failures and apply corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, quality assurance, and operations teams to remove bottlenecks
- Manages delivery assurance processes and / or works to achieve day-to-day delivery assurance objectives.
- Implements solutions to issues such as the coordination of shipments, sub-process suppliers and technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery, and to identify root causes that impacts on-time delivery.
- Implements process improvements and deploys delivery assurance system to ensure early identification of shortages.
- Collaborates with other departments as necessary with regard to meeting customer requirements, minimizing negative impacts on a business in the case of shortages.
- Ensures timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned complex components.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using SAP.
- Practical to substantial knowledge of organizational programs, systems, and processes, with the ability to identify improvements and apply them in day-to-day operations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- English proficiency
- 3 years of experience on a similar role
