- Guide patients through the process: Coordinate onboarding and help educate patients regarding specialty pharmacy services, prior authorizations,, medication fulfillment options, and available access to resources.
- Support insurance approvals: Verify benefits, coordinate prior authorization submissions and renewals, and follow up on delays or denials. Assist with appeals and reconsideration requests under pharmacist direction.
- Connect patients with financial support: Help identify assistance programs, complete applications, and monitor approvals and renewals to reduce financial barriers and prevent treatment interruptions.
- Keep treatment moving: Coordinate refills, shipment scheduling, and prescription renewals. Conduct refill reminders and adherence outreach, escalating clinical concerns or treatment barriers to the pharmacist.

- Stay on top of the details: Maintain accurate referral, patient, prescription, and authorization records while protecting patient confidentiality and following pharmacy and regulatory requirements.
- Help improve pharmacy operations: Contribute to workflow improvements, quality initiatives, and departmental goals that support timely access, medication adherence, and customer service.
