  • Define and maintain reusable solution patterns and reference architectures that enable consistency, scalability, and reduced technical debt across the practice

  • Support the full product lifecycle for practice solutions, including roadmap definition, major enhancements, platform upgrades, and decommissioning decisions

  • Partner with Enterprise, Platform, and Foundational Architects to apply security, data, AI, application, and infrastructure standards while bringing practice-driven perspectives into firmwide architecture decisions

  • Advise Product Managers and Product Owners on architectural trade-offs between standard capabilities, configuration, and customization to balance speed, quality, and sustainability

  • Represent the practice in architecture governance forums, driving alignment across practice, platform, and enterprise technology roadmaps and senior stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (required)

  • Must have a deep architecture background with at least ten years of experience spanning multiple architecture domains, with depth in at least one area relevant to professional services solutions and working knowledge across cloud and infrastructure, security, identity and access management, data architecture and integration, application development architectures, process analysis, DevOps, and product management

  • Must have broad working knowledge paired with working experience across the Microsoft portfolio, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Compute and Networking, Security and Identity, Azure Integration Services, Application Development, Copilot and related AI capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage capabilities from across the Microsoft ecosystem and combine them with third-party platforms, packaged products, APIs, and custom-developed components to deliver integrated, end-to-end products

  • Experience evaluating when to use native Microsoft capabilities, configuration, customization, custom development, or third-party solutions based on business fit, user needs, interoperability, cost, risk, scalability, and long-term sustainability

  • Proven ability to architect the complete product experience including business processes, user experience, applications, workflows, data, integrations, security, automation, analytics, infrastructure, operations, and lifecycle management

  • Deep analytical and design thinking skills

  • Experience designing solutions in a professional service, consulting, or highly regulated services environment

  • Experience working within a product-centric or platform-based delivery model

  • Communication skills to make technical topics easier for practice leaders to understand

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Persists in the face of obstacles, demonstrates initiative, and sets high personal standards for performance and operational excellence
