Role Summary
This role is for a Software Engineer on the Product Sizing and Packaging (PSP) team, which is responsible for sizing individual infrastructures (the architectures) to optimally meet our Splunk Enterprise Cloud (EC) customers’ workload requirements.
Splunk is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative engineer to work closely with product owners and designers to build and support a suite of internal/external customer-facing Splunk applications/services to collect, analyze, visualize, and deliver an architecture to meet customer needs. You will also participate in an on-call rotation to handle customer blocking issues and critical incidents outside regular business hours to ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime and impact on customers.

Requirements:
- Bachelors + 2 years of related experience OR Masters + 0 years of related experience
- Requires basic knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts of backend technologies, such as Go, Python, or associated ecosystems; have exposure to current technologies through coursework or internship
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly
