We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver software features and services, while building a solid foundation in the reliability, scalability, and operational health of the systems we run. This role blends hands-on software engineering with site reliability engineering: you’ll build features and systems, learn how they behave in production, help respond when things break, and contribute to making them more resilient. You’ll work across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and operations. You’ll own well-defined pieces of work end-to-end and grow toward leading larger technical decisions with support from senior engineers. 

In this role, you will get to:

• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code, with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate actively in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback that helps keep code quality high
• Build and improve services with reliability in mind, including adding monitoring and alerting and contributing to incident response
• Develop and maintain microservices and distributed systems, learning to reason about service boundaries, data consistency, and failure handling
• Contribute to infrastructure and deployment work for the systems you build, including cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and (ideally) infrastructure as code
• Take part in on-call rotations and production incident investigations, and help implement root-cause fixes with guidance from senior engineers
• Work with senior engineers and stakeholders to turn business requirements into well-scoped technical tasks
• Develop features and solutions using our tech stack, and contribute ideas on tools and approaches
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, escalating when appropriate
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly, and deliver your work on agreed timelines
• Contribute to improving the SDLC and internal engineering processes
• Share knowledge with teammates and support newer or junior engineers where you can

You’ll be successful if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including delivering features or projects from start to finish
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as Next.js, React.js, or Express
• Comfortable working and scripting in a Linux environment
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar); exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) is a plus
• Interest in growing into SRE practices: monitoring and observability, incident response, on-call, and postmortems
• A track record of learning new tools and technologies quickly
• A good understanding of SDLC principles and an interest in sound architecture and design
• Thai national or currently based in Bangkok
• Strong English proficiency, both spoken and written
