Software Development Engineer in Test
Contract role, 12 months
Do you have a passion for test-driven development? Want to work at a company where customers have real excitement for the products you help build? We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Client QA team. This person will be testing new and existing features on multiple platforms and devices in a software development environment.

Responsibilities

Review product requirements and design documents to create effective testing strategies

Build concrete test plans, write test cases and execute them to ensure quality of features

Implement and maintain test automation scripts to increase test coverage and stability

Develop, maintain and improve test automation framework
-
Report, track and verify defects as well as monitor Automation jobs

Provide status reports to Leadership and other key partners

Work with the infrastructure team to maintain common services such as CI test pipelines
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge

2+ years experience in UI automation for web or native applications
-
Validated experience in Software testing life cycle

Experience with version control solutions (both centralized and distributed)

Experience maintaining CI systems (Jenkins preferred)

Experience with Selenium or Appium
-
Experience in one or more Programming/Scripting Languages, preferably Python.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with at least one modern web application framework such as Angular/Ember.js/React

Experience developing or testing a non-PC device (phone/game console/set-top box, etc.)

Experience with Agile methodologies

Significant experience with Python

Experience with Node.js, React Native

Experience developing or writing test code for a game console
