Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment and Duty Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker to join its client’s Assessment and Duty Team in Hull.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Deliver statutory social work services to children, young people, and their families in line with current legislation and Hull City Council procedures.
• Provide direct intervention to support children and families in crisis or at risk of breakdown, helping them remain safely within their family or with identified carers.
• Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and partner agencies to develop and implement effective support plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports in line with professional standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice with your line manager.
• Contribute to a positive team culture, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
