This role requires a highly creative individual with strong content production and graphic design capabilities who can bring ideas to life from concept through execution.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist in creating original, branded and video and social content to drive fan engagement across social channels and generate revenue opportunities for local sales staff.
- Lead creation of visual marketing materials and website graphics for a diverse set of clients and rodeo committees.
- Use graphic design software to develop unique fonts, color schemes, shapes and other design elements that portray the company’s brand.
- Support the development of custom-branded social content for local Learfield property sales teams.
- Assist in the creation of content for various platforms including but not limited to multimedia audio/video, animation, graphics, and sponsorable content.
- Serve as a liaison—alongside the Content Producer—between the department content team, local Learfield sales teams, and national sales.
- Collaborate with content team to produce branded content in the defined voice and tone of each account, across all social media platforms, including emerging channels.
- Support the creative process from concept through final deliverables, including writing, producing, shooting, and occasionally overseeing editing.
- Works closely with the Digital Assets Manager, the Content Strategy & Distribution Manager and the Media Publications Director to ensure internal and external assets are updated.
- Work closely with the Content Strategy & Distribution Manager Coordinator to support and organize social media content and help drive sponsor brand positioning to deliver on contractual obligations.
- Works with Director of Licensing and Merchandising to design and create graphics for merchandise.
- Assist the Supervising Producer in the creative development of Learfield-led original content initiatives.
- Participate in the production of Learfield live-action shoots and other on-site content opportunities at PRORODEO Partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in developing creative video content that has driven engagement and measurable results.
- 1+ year of graphic design experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite. (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Access databases).
- Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with content creators, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present concepts and strategies to executive leadership.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate ideas that support project goals and initiatives.
- Strong administrative, critical-reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, efficient, and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience working in the sports industry
The approximate national base pay range for this position is $16.88 to $22.71/ hour. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation based on individual and company performance. Placement on the range may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and geographic location. The pay rate will comply with all minimum federal, state, and local wage/salary requirements.
