• Pay: $26.41/hour

• Night shift premium: Additional $0.75/hour (if working nights)

• Bonus: $1,000 referral bonus

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 PM–7AM, fixed 4-3 rotation
• Union Facility

Amcor is hiring Slitter Operators to set up, run, and support slitting machines in our Batavia manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on production role for candidates with machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and run slitting machines to meet production standards

• Perform quality checks and document results

• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues

• Record production data and maintain clean work areas

Must Have

• At least 6 months of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, or adjusting equipment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a fixed 4-3 schedule

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reliable attendance, safety focus, and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Accurate measurement skills
• Prior slitting experience

• Basic metric conversion knowledge
• Experience helping train or guide team members
