We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Service Technician in our Field sites. In this role, you will be hands-on and responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a variety of forklift, reach truck, pallet truck, other material handling equipment, ensuring reliability and safety for our clients.

Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting technical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and executing repairs in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our service team and other technicians to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure equipment performance meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned jobs and work orders within the scheduled timeframe and according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate daily records of hours worked and hours charged to ensure proper labour utilization and reporting.
• Complete all required Job Reports and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Inspection Reports accurately and promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance services in accordance with approved truck service procedures and established standard times.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company assets in good working condition and in compliance with company standards.
• Report any loss, damage, or malfunction of tools and equipment to the Service Manager or designated supervisor immediately.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, repairs completed, and parts utilized.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations while performing service and repair work.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices, safety standards, and technical advancements through continuous learning and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating professionally and effectively with customers regarding equipment conditions, repair recommendations, and maintenance requirements.
• Participate in technical training and development programs to enhance product knowledge, troubleshooting capabilities, and overall technical competency.
• Support team objectives and undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field SKM, etc.
• Possess good electrical/mechanical aptitude or knowledge in machinery equipment is preferred.
• Experience in maintenance repair and overhaul in automotive engine will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and committed to work.
• Open to all Malaysian diploma or vocational certificate graduates from IPTA/IPTS.
• Proven experience as a forklift / service technician or mechanic in a similar industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Have valid driving license: B2, D, GDL (Advantage)
• Good in Bahasa and got basic command in English (both verbal and written).
• Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning.
