 Job Title: SEO & Content Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, execution-focused SEO & Content Associate to help grow organic traffic and improve search visibility for a new digital telco brand in the MENA region. The successful candidate will drive SEO implementation, product high-quality content, and improve visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging GenAI platforms (like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity). S/he will own keyword research, content execution, site audits, and reporting, ensuring everything is SEO-ready, measurable, and aligned to the business’s acquisition goals. 

The ideal candidate has strong written and communication skills in English, understands search behaviour across region, and knows how to tailor content to surface in GenAI results, not just search engine rankings. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Implement SEO best practices across core pages, blogs, and the Help Center - including title tags, headers, metadata, schema, and internal linking

• Conduct keyword research to support new content and optimize existing assets

• Monitor technical SEO elements like indexing, site structure, mobile responsiveness, and page speed, and work with engineering to resolve issues

• Write and optimize SEO-focused content such as landing pages, blog articles, FAQs, and product pages, aligned with key search intents

• Maintain a consistent brand tone while maximizing content discoverability and relevance

• Identify content gaps and product new content based on search trends, competitor benchmarks, and analytics

• Optimize content not only for traditional SERPs but also for retrieval and visibility in GenAI platforms (eg. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)

• Track and report on organic KPIs including ranking, traffic, CTR, bounce rates, and conversions

• Use GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Looker to surface insights and performance issues

• Conduct regular site audits and content refreshes to improve ranking and fix SEO issues

• Stay up to date with the latest search algorithm updates and GenAI platform developments, and translate them into practical executional changes

• Provide SEO input for product launches, new landing pages, and marketing campaigns

• Ensure consistency across content and acquisition channels

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4-6 years of hands-on SEO and content experience in fast-paced digital or B2C environments

• Fluent in English, with strong written and communication skills 

• Proven success in improving rankings and scaling organic traffic through content and technical SEO

• Strong familiarity with SEO tools (eg. SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and analytics platforms (eg. GA4, Looker)

• Experience working with CMS tools (eg. WordPress, Webflow) and cross-fucntional teams

• Prior exposure to MENA markets and understanding of GenAI platforms is a strong plus
