We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Wealth Adviser to manage, maintain, and grow a portfolio of HNW clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored wealth management solutions across investments, banking, lending, and fiduciary services while maintaining the highest standards of client service and regulatory compliance.

This is a senior individual contributor role with direct accountability for client relationships, revenue generation, portfolio growth, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Manage and develop a portfolio of HNW clients, with a focus on the £1 million+ client segment.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships through personalised financial advice and proactive engagement.
• Deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions across investments, banking, fiduciary services, and lending.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and increase wallet share.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to address complex client requirements.

Business Development & Portfolio Growth

• Drive sustainable revenue growth through proactive client acquisition and relationship development.
• Originate new business through professional networks, referrals, and market engagement.
• Maintain and grow a profitable personal book of business.
• Achieve individual revenue, asset growth, and business development targets.
• Represent the organisation at relevant networking events and industry engagements.

Investment Advisory & Compliance

• Provide suitable financial, investment, and lending advice aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
• Ensure all recommendations comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client advice, suitability assessments, and recommendations.
• Demonstrate strong risk awareness, ethical conduct, and professional integrity.
• Stay informed of market developments, regulatory changes, and investment opportunities.

Collaboration & Professional Development

• Work closely with investment specialists and other internal teams to deliver holistic client solutions.
• Share market insights, industry knowledge, and best practices with colleagues.
• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
• Maintain relevant professional qualifications and undertake continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements

• Significant experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory.
• Proven track record of managing and growing an HNW client portfolio.
• Demonstrated experience advising clients within the £1 million+ wealth segment.
• Strong business development capabilities and an established professional network.
• Comprehensive understanding of investment products, wealth planning, banking, and lending solutions.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to achieve revenue and asset growth targets.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, suitability standards, and risk management.
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Essential: RDR-compliant investment qualification, minimum Level 6.
• Desirable: CeMAP or equivalent regulated lending qualification, or willingness to obtain one where required.
• Ongoing professional development and maintenance of relevant regulatory qualifications.
