Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute and execute according to the digital currency strategy, roadmap and operating plan
• Participate and drive industry engagement and discussions on innovation topics
• Research and develop potential use cases and opportunities (leveraging on, but not limited to, blockchain technology, tokens, coins, purpose coins and other digital assets)
• Drive POCs, prototypes and pilots to maintain portfolio of innovation concepts in line with strategy
• Join client meetings to discuss co-creation opportunities for use cases. Research and engage with potential partners to discuss collaboration opportunities
• Establish delivery mechanism to bring innovations to life that will provide learnings that inform future payment product roadmaps
• Evaluate and prioritize new product and services opportunities and develop a business case for investment approval.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (including senior) to drive the delivery and commercialization
• Monitor the fast-evolving landscape and lead internal education efforts on innovation topics, approach and learnings
• Coordinate regular newsletters to provide insights on what is happening in the market and what the bank is doing

Requirements

• At least 10-15 years of working experience in working with Digital Currency, Payments and/or Transaction Banking products
• proven track record in implementing successful innovative solutions and digital strategies.
• Strong understanding of the Payment – Transaction Banking business and an appreciation of innovations happening within the Payments space, with in-depth appreciation of both fiat and non-fiat payments
• Experience in managing Payments - Transaction banking product(s) in the wholesale banking space across Asia Pacific is strongly preferred.
• Must possess very strong cross-platform digital and technical knowledge and be up-to-date with the latest market development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
