The Opportunity

We’re continuing to build our Roads & Highways capability on the Gold Coast and are interested in connecting with experienced engineers who may be considering their next career move.

We’re seeking expressions of interest from Senior, Associate and Principal-level Engineers with 10+ years of experience across roads, highways and major transport infrastructure. Opportunities may span both design delivery and construction phase services, providing scope to contribute your expertise across technically complex and multidisciplinary transport projects.

Depending on your background and career interests, you may work across detailed design, design management, technical review, project management, leadership or a combination of these areas, providing technical leadership, develop engineers, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our Roads & Highways capability.

The Role

Depending on your level and area of expertise, you may be involved in:

• Delivering and leading road and highway design across major transport infrastructure projects
• Undertaking technical reviews and providing senior engineering input across complex design packages
• Supporting or leading contract administration, verification and design assurance activities
• Reviewing engineering designs, calculations, reports and technical documentation
• Providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams
• Managing packages of work across scope, program, quality and commercial requirements
• Working collaboratively with clients, delivery partners, contractors and other stakeholders
• Supporting design coordination and the integration of roads, structures, drainage, geotechnical and other transport disciplines
• Mentoring and developing engineers while strengthening technical capability within the team
• At Associate and Principal level, contributing to project pursuits, client relationships, technical governance and business development

About You

You are an experienced civil or transport engineer with a strong background in roads, highways or major transport infrastructure. You may currently be focused on design and project delivery, have established experience in contract administration, Independent Verification and assurance, or bring capability across both.

You will ideally bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience across roads, highways or major transport infrastructure
• Strong technical knowledge across road design and/or Independent Verification
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments
• The ability to review and communicate complex engineering information clearly
• Strong stakeholder, client and project-team communication skills
• Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to developing engineers
• For Associate and Principal candidates, demonstrated technical, project and/or client leadership capability
• RPEQ registration, or eligibility to obtain RPEQ, would be highly regarded
