Why Join Turing?
Exceptional talent builds exceptional teams, and exceptional teams shape what Turing can achieve.
As a Technical Recruiter, you will own searches from intake through successful start. You will source, assess, engage, and close exceptional talent while partnering closely with hiring managers and candidates throughout the process.
Although the role is grounded in technical recruiting, you will support both technical and nontechnical hiring as business priorities evolve. You will also use AI, automation, data, and recruiting technology to improve quality, speed, and effectiveness.
As a Technical Recruiter, You Will
Own Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Independently manage assigned requisitions and candidates from intake through successful start.
- Build qualified pipelines through targeted research, talent mapping, personalized outreach, referrals, and professional networks.
- Maintain accountability for hiring outcomes, candidate progression, and timely requisition updates.
Recruit Across Functions and Geographies
- Recruit for technical and nontechnical roles across multiple functions and geographic markets.
- Recruit senior technical roles across London, New York, Seattle, and other international markets.
- Build local market knowledge and adapt sourcing strategies to different talent pools.
Partner With Hiring Managers
- Define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, establish sourcing strategies, and align on evaluation criteria.
- Provide informed recommendations on candidate qualifications, talent availability, compensation expectations, and hiring strategy.
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and serve as a thoughtful advisor throughout the search.
Assess, Engage, and Close Candidates
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and role alignment using sound judgment and consistent standards.
- Coordinate structured interviews, timely feedback, and hiring decisions while proactively resolving obstacles.
- Develop closing strategies based on candidate motivations, competing opportunities, compensation expectations, and potential concerns.
Improve Recruiting Operations
- Use approved AI, automation, and recruiting technologies while maintaining human judgment and candidate confidentiality.
- Identify improvements that reduce administrative work, accelerate candidate progression, and improve recruiting outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely requisition and candidate data in Greenhouse and other relevant systems.
The Opportunity
Own the outcome: You will be accountable for your searches from intake through successful start, not simply for completing individual recruiting tasks.
Build trusted partnerships: You will work directly with hiring managers and candidates and influence hiring decisions through strong judgment and clear communication.
Recruit across markets: You will identify and engage senior technical talent across North America, Europe, and other global markets.
Raise the operating standard: You will help improve how Turing recruits through disciplined execution, better use of technology, and continuous process improvement.
Our Technical Recruiters Typically Have
Full-cycle recruiting experience: Seven or more years of experience independently sourcing, assessing, engaging, and closing candidates across the full recruiting lifecycle.
Senior technical recruiting experience: A track record of recruiting senior technical roles, including software engineering, AI, data, infrastructure, or related disciplines.
Global recruiting experience: Experience recruiting for roles in geographies outside your own, including North America and Europe.
Market familiarity: Familiarity recruiting senior technical talent in markets such as London, New York, and Seattle.
Talent intelligence: The ability to apply market insights to strengthen sourcing strategies, candidate assessments, compensation discussions, and hiring decisions.
Candidate and stakeholder judgment: Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and judgment across candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
AI-enabled execution: The ability to use approved AI tools, automation, data, and recruiting systems to improve recruiting quality, speed, and effectiveness.
Candidates whose experience is limited to recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, or transactional sourcing without full-cycle ownership will not be a fit for this role.
Top-Tier Candidates Will Have
- Experience recruiting senior technical talent in competitive markets such as London, New York, and Seattle.
- Experience recruiting across multiple international markets and adapting strategies to local talent pools.
- A track record of building passive candidate pipelines and closing candidates in competitive talent markets.
- Experience using AI, automation, recruiting analytics, or other technology to improve recruiting execution.
- Strong experience partnering with senior technical leaders on role definition, candidate calibration, and hiring strategy.
