Your Role with Us

As a Senior Supervision Management Specialist, you play a key role in supporting high-quality advice and strong adviser conduct across AIA’s Financial Advice Provider network. Working closely with advisers, leaders, risk and compliance teams, and key business stakeholders, you help ensure advice, disclosure, complaints management, and record keeping practices meet regulatory expectations while delivering positive customer outcomes. This role combines technical expertise, coaching, and strategic influence, giving you the opportunity to strengthen supervision frameworks, guide continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on maintaining trust, quality, and excellence across the advice business.

Your Impact

• Strengthen adviser oversight by reviewing advice quality, identifying risks, and supporting timely remediation that enhances customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and influence advisers and stakeholders to build capability, encourage best practice, and drive consistent supervision standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supervision processes, increase efficiency, and support sustainable business performance.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting that enables informed decision-making and strengthens governance across the organisation.
• Investigate complaints, advice failures, and supervision issues, delivering practical recommendations that reduce risk and improve outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships across adviser, leadership, risk, compliance, and partner networks to support effective supervision and service delivery.

Your Capabilities

• You bring experience within the financial services industry, including a strong understanding of advice practices, products, and customer outcomes.
• You have the ability to analyse complex information, identify emerging risks, and make sound, balanced decisions aligned with regulatory expectations.
• You bring strong coaching and communication skills, providing constructive feedback that supports development and continuous improvement.
• You have a proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
• You have experience investigating complaints, resolving complex issues, and navigating challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• You may also have a relevant tertiary qualification, NCFS Level 5 certification, and knowledge of legislation such as FMCA, CCCFA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
