The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL in Conway Park (on site) location in the Core Lab Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
What You’ll Work On
The Senior Statistician works with cross-functional teams to design studies, create statistical plans, and develops statistical
programming for analysis for diagnostic products across business applications (e.g., cancer biomarkers, cardiac markers). The
senior statistician also leads statistical projects and interacts across cross-functional teams within the organization.
- Perform data analysis and assist with validating software using R, SAS or other statistical software.
- Develop statistical plan with sound statistical methodology and follow industry guidelines, defined standard, procedure and
- practices.
- Lead projects independently and make decisions to meet timeline.
- Participate in data review and regulatory submission.
- Propose recommendations for new projects and processes to align with organizational goals.
- Present statistical concept and study report to cross-functional team and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or related field
- Master's Degree 2 years of relevant experience
- Doctorate Degree 1 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Statistical Theory
- At least 1 year of experience in R

The base pay for this position is
$78,000.00 – $156,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
