The Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Operations and Logistics plays a critical leadership role in ensuring seamless execution of the global franchisor and franchise system's supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment activities.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Logistics, and Fulfillment, this role owns order management, vendor coordination, inventory accuracy, and franchisee-facing fulfillment support. You will translate departmental strategy into reliable, on-time equipment delivery for our global studio network, while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure all processes remain audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Process Management

• Maintain clear priorities and maintain workload to keep order processing, PO issuance, and franchisee support on schedule.
• Own and continuously refine day-to-day Supply Chain processes (order intake, storage/warehouse handoffs, delivery tracking), escalating systemic issues and recommended fixes to the VP.
• Maintain the team's operating playbook for common disruptions (carrier delays, vendor shortages, customs holds) and lead the immediate response when they occur.
• Hold third-party vendors, warehouses, and freight partners accountable to agreed service levels, escalating repeated non-performance to the departmental leadership with supporting documentation.

Demand Planning & Inventory Execution

• Support ongoing execution of the department's replenishment plan for equipment packs and components, placing and tracking purchase orders against forecasted demand and studio opening schedules.
• Monitor inventory positions across warehouses and storage locations, flagging aging, excess, or at-risk stock to departmental leadership for resolution.
• Support new product introductions (e.g., new equipment lines) by coordinating phase-in/phase-out of legacy inventory at the operational level.
• Maintain accurate, current tracking (e.g., delivery files, allocation trackers) for non-standard fulfillment situations — franchise resales, transfers, and equipment reallocations — so obligations are never lost track of.

Finance & Accounting Coordination

• Partner with Accounting to ensure purchase orders, receiving records, and vendor invoices reconcile cleanly, resolving discrepancies before they reach month-end close.
• Provide timely, accurate inventory status, location, and cost information to support inventory valuation and capitalization.
• Prepare rolling cash-need estimates for upcoming production, freight, and duty payments to support Accounts Payable planning.
• Maintain clean documentation (approvals, PO history, correspondence) for every transaction to support internal and external audit requests on request.

Vendor & Purchase Order Management

• Manage day-to-day vendor relationships for assigned categories — placing orders, confirming pricing and lead times, and resolving delivery or quality issues as they arise.
• Track vendor performance against SLAs and MSAs, surfacing recurring problems and negotiation opportunities to the VP.
• Support vendor onboarding and periodic risk reviews (financial health, capacity, compliance) for the vendors in their portfolio.

Franchise Network Support & Customer Experience

• Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisee equipment questions and escalations within their portfolio, ensuring timely, accurate, and transparent responses.
• Proactively communicate known shipping delays or supply constraints to affected franchisees and internal stakeholders before they impact studio openings.
• Coordinate closely with Onboarding Operations and Real Estate to synchronize equipment delivery with new studio opening timelines.
• Track and report on service-level KPIs (order accuracy, on-time delivery, ticket resolution time) for their area, and action root-cause fixes for recurring issues.
• Contribute to franchisee-facing resources (FAQs, order-status guidance) that help owners understand lead times and the equipment ordering process.

Requirements

• 2 - 4  years of direct supply chain operations, logistics, or fulfillment experience.
• Experience in a franchise, multi-unit, or distributed network environment is a strong plus, particularly managing equipment fulfillment or physical goods delivery to end operators.
• Working knowledge of demand planning and forecasting fundamentals (e.g., moving averages, seasonality adjustments).
• Experience supporting  day-to-day vendor relationships, purchase orders, and basic contract/SLA compliance.
• Preferred, but not required: Solid financial acumen, with experience supporting cash-need forecasting and PO/invoice/receiving reconciliation.
• Preferred, but not required: Hands-on experience with an ERP system, ideally NetSuite; comfortable with procure-to-pay workflows.
• Strong communication skills and experience supporting internal or external customers (e.g., franchisees) through order status and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with franchising - Preferred but not required: fitness, health & wellness, or consumer durables industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
