The Role

• We are seeking a Solution Architect to drive high-impact identity governance implementations and serve as the core technical authority on customer projects. In this role, you will leverage your client-facing communication skills and deep industry expertise to share organizational best practices, helping complex enterprises secure their digital identities.

Responsibilities

• The Solution Architect is responsible for actively gathering customers' business use cases and documenting product-based requirements with highly recommended, secure solution designs. In addition to technical design, you will focus on educating customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design specifications, and industry best practices. You will also play a key role in scoping, analyzing, and documenting new implementation projects to ensure clear project boundaries and successful delivery.

• To enable the broader ecosystem, you will develop and deliver technical training designed specifically to educate SailPoint implementation partners. On the delivery front, you will assist implementation team members with designing creative solutions to complex problems, while also contributing directly to the technical delivery of solutions through custom code writing or complex platform configuration.

The Path to Success (Milestones)

• 1-Month Milestones (The "Learning" Phase):During your first month, you will focus on absorbing deep technical knowledge through intensive SailPoint product training to master our advanced SaaS and Software solutions. You will meet and align with key APJ stakeholders, partners, and team members to understand regional goals, while beginning to shadow active client projects.

• 2-Month Milestones (The "Connecting" Phase):By the second month, you will solidify your key relationships and begin serving independently as the technical lead on active customer projects. You will routinely perform core architectural duties and begin presenting initial solution drafts and recommended designs to our clients.

• 3-Month Milestones (The "Contribution" Phase):At the three-month mark, you will be fully ramped on our core tools, methodologies, and processes. You will regularly present completed, complex architectural plans to management and clients, and actively guide project delivery teams through complex configurations.

• 6-Month Milestones (The "Performance" Phase):By your sixth month and leading into your first year, you will achieve concrete quantitative results by successfully delivering major client projects on schedule. You will refine existing implementation processes, achieve your SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect badge, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to partners, customers, and junior colleagues.

Education & Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent professional experience. We require 10 or more years of professional experience working within an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm, with at least 5 years specifically dedicated to SailPoint or IDAM solutions. You must possess proven software development and configuration experience, utilizing tools like Java, XML, BeanShell, and JavaScript, along with exceptional customer-facing consultative skills.

• Ideally, preferred candidates will hold a J2EE or CISSP certification, or already possess a SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect certification. Familiarity with other identity governance platforms from vendors such as Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, or Novell is highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, role-based access controls, and hands-on experience in project management or quality assurance testing is considered a strong plus.
   

Travel & Logistics

This position is based in Noida, India, and requires working hours that support APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) timezones. The work environment is structured around a hybrid or in-office arrangement in Pune, with expectations for occasional local and regional travel as required by project scope and client needs.
