- Job Title: Senior Software Technical Leader (BSW)
- Experience: 9-12 Years
- 5+ years of work experience in automotive BSW development.
- 3+ years of work experience with AUTOSAR software architect and software integrator.
- Educational Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics /Communication / Electrical/Power electronics/Instrumentation
Key Responsibility:
- Develop Proficient Software components & responsible for integrating software components on ASW, BSW, MCAL layers according to integration plan for state-of-the-art BorgWarner Electrification Products, create software build to satisfy software release targeted functionalities and requirements.
- Planning and Coordination with the responsible persons of the Software components and the Software project manager with regards to software integration and testing.
- Creation of the complete software and delivery to the project team as well as software release documentation.
- Specification and execution of software integration tests (SWE5) including documentation
- Technical mentoring/problem solving & support integration of Platform software.
- Debugging and analyzing integration problems. This position will require close collaboration with Software project manager, lead software engineers, software architect, software test engineer and other departments to complete software development engineering and release.
- Support the development/maintenance of and adhere to the common software architecture. Ensure documented traceability from requirements through test cases meeting Automotive SPICE development process requirements.
- Implement and shape CI/CD future, with elements that will enable totally new possibilities and ways of working.
- Performing AutoSAR System configuration (SWC compositions like Component instances, connectors), optimize AUTOSAR based SW architecture in multicore environment.
- Lead enhancement of the controls and module/component architectures alongside strategic roadmap with cutting-edge technology advancements and innovative solutions
- Works closely with customers, Start centre, Experts, Technical Leads to gain understanding of Customer requirements, and define SW architecture and high-level designs/solutions to meet those needs.
- Assist in debugging through established problem-solving techniques and debug on bench
- Mentor, influence, and coach team members to enhance engineering skills and achieve shared goals
What we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of AutoSAR tool chain and sound working experience in Makefile development and setting up software build environment based on a C/C++ compiler, linker to generate various target-based products files from make and linker utility scripts.
- Build management of tasks from various developers using software configuration and change management tools such as JIRA, Polarion, BitBucket and Gitlab.
- Experience in integrating OEM application libraries (SWCs) is desirable. Experienced in using ASAP2 tools, A2L files.
- Strong expertise in Build Automation and working with tool-chain for Continuous Integration & Continuous delivery (such as Jenkins) as well as scripting for automated testing.
- Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, Configuration & implementation of BSW modules for multiple SWCs, (DCM, DEM, CAN, CANIF, SPI, PDUR, MEMIF, NM, EEP, etc,) Bootloader, Cybersecurity, IO hardware abstraction (FEE, Crypto) and MCAL development through various tools from Vector such as DaVinci, ETAS ISOLAR, EB Tresos etc.
- Hand on experience in design and development of Multi Core OS, SecOC and OTA/FOTA implementation solution
- Must have BSW software development experience in configuration of BSW components, Bootloader stack, Communication Stack, Diagnostic stack, Memory stack, Network management including CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet, and UDS protocols, Memory Stack, OS, ECUM, BSWM, WDG, NVM etc, Instrumentation development using XCP, XETK, UDS
- Solid Hands-on experience in Vector DaVinci tool chain, EBTresos and ETAS ISOLAR
- Must have experienced with 32bit Infineon TC 3xx microcontroller
- Exemplary expertise in Embedded SW development using C language, debugging for embedded multithreaded and multi core/CPU software environment.
- Strong ability to comprehend microcontroller hardware and associated schematics
- Experience in configuration & Change management tools such as Plastic SCM, BitBucket, Gitlab, JIRA, Design tools such as EA, Unit testing tools such as TPT/CANTATA/VectorCAST/RTRT, Serial Comm testing tool such as CANoe/CANalyzer/NeoVI Fire, Cross compilers and debuggers like Lauterbach, Tasking.
- Exposure to Agile methodology/CMM/SPICE/ISO 26262 /TS 16949

Major Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand the market drivers and requirements to provide Cybersecurity Security solutions and services addressing today’s needs.
- Developing, maintaining and managing cyber security requirements and standards
- Promote and help define Security Solutions to our target OEMs customers. Solutions built on Privacy technology offerings together with internal and external partners.
- Define innovative and develop Security solutions and services together with customers for their products
- Provide technical guidance, strategic directions and support collaterals towards engineering, marketing and strategy

Major Job Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelors’/Masters’ engineering degree in Electronics/Electrical/Power Electronics/Instrumentation
- 7-9 years of overall experience preferably in automotive embedded software development. with minimum 5 years in automotive cybersecurity software development
- Proven expertise in Automotive Cybersecurity Software Architecture and secure system design
- Hands-on experience with HSM including key management, cryptographic services, secure provisioning and integration.
- Strong working knowledge of vector HSM and MICROSAR including integration and configuration of the Crypto stack.
- Strong Implementation experience of Secure Boot, Secure Flashing/OTA, Secure Diagnostics, Secure Debug, IDS , SecOC and Secure tokens.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ embedded software development in multicore / multithreaded environments.
- Debugging for embedded multithreaded and multi core/CPU software environment.
- Deep understanding of AUTOSAR Classic Architecture – ASW, BSW, MCAL, RTE configuration and integration.
- Experience with AUTOSAR tools such as Vector DaVinci toolchain and EB Tresos.
- Strong practical knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, including TARA, cybersecurity concept, and lifecycle work-products.
- Experience addressing UNECE regulations UN R155 and UN R156.
- Solid understanding of ASPICE processes and cybersecurity-related work products.
- Familiarity with V-Model based development, requirements engineering, verification & validation.
- Experience using Jira and Polarion for activity and requirements management.
- Good understanding of microcontroller architecture, HW security features, and schematics.
- Experience working in Agile automotive software development environments.
- Ability to operate at Software Technical Lead level, guiding design decisions and mentoring engineers.
