Job Role

PLM, Pune team, need a Software Development Technical Consultant who will work on developing and maintaining functional areas within Windchill Platform- Core Services.

Individual contributor and Subject Matter expert role, exhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, SDLC concepts and company objectives to develop, resolve complex problems. Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways. Understands the interrelationships of different components. Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas.

Your Team

The candidate will be a part of Windchill Platform – Core Services team who closely work on platform and deployment agnostic solution in Windchill Core area.

YOUR - DAY - TO - DAY

• Technical Approaches on future backlogs
• Design and implementation of features.
• Participate and provide accurate input related to functionality and required solutions to Stakeholders including Product Managers, TPMs and Solution teams.
• Solicit Design and code reviews for your work. Participate in design/code reviews of others’ work
• Formal technical coaching responsibility and assist low level developers.
• Prepare work break down structure and help in providing the implementable solutions within release delivery constraints to meet an end-to-end solution.
• Proof of Concepts of solution and improvements in Windchill Platform.
• Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)
• Customers’ facing queries and work closely with CRT/TS/SO&S/SREs and provide required guidance and occasionally join Customer calls and provide required technical guidance/inputs their problems
• Technical Documentations. And provide timely and complete information to QA group QA group to facilitate formal testing.
• Share technical information with the team and to a wider audience when appropriate
• Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
• AI tools learning and adaptation to get more and more accurate solution with improved speed of delivery.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• 5+ years’ experience as individual contribution role as software developer.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in enterprise-wide applications.
• Bachelors/master’s in computer science or related discipline
• Very strong in Java/J2EE development
• Needs to have hands on experience on solving performance/scalability issues
• Needs to understand of DB (Oracle/SQL Server) queries & tunning
• Hands on experience on UI development using Windchill available frameworks
• Very good reasoning, verbal and written communication skills
• Good hold on using AI tools available in R&D
