As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will own the day-to-day health, configuration, and evolution of Fleetio's Salesforce platform. This is a hands-on build role for someone who takes pride in a well-governed org, such as clean automation, sensible permissions, and changes that ship safely, and who is up for the challenge of getting us there. We've grown quickly, and this is the role that carries our existing systems and processes into their next phase of evolution. You'll partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to gather requirements, translate them into scalable declarative solutions, and make Salesforce a platform our teams actually want to use. You'll report to the Salesforce Team Lead as part of the broader GTM Systems & Marketing Operations function.

Your Impact:

• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, best-practice solutions, with a bias toward long-term maintainability over one-off fixes.
• Build and maintain Salesforce configuration, including Flow, validation rules, approval processes, assignment rules, custom objects and fields, record types, page layouts and dynamic forms, Lightning pages, apps and actions, mobile administration, custom settings, reports, and dashboards.
• Support all aspects of user and license management — new user setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, org-wide defaults, and sharing rules.
• Improve Salesforce data quality through duplicate and validation rules, automation, and regular data audits.
• Administer Salesforce-connected GTM applications, including Workato, Outreach, Gong, Marketo, ZoomInfo, and others, with responsibility for sync troubleshooting, user/licensing support, vendor escalation, and integration health.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex Salesforce support issues spanning Flow, automation, integrations, and data, diagnosing root causes and implementing permanent fixes.
• Run proactive platform maintenance: seasonal release readiness, security and permission audits, Health Check and Optimizer remediation, technical debt cleanup, and retirement of unused configuration.
• Identify underutilized Salesforce capabilities and recommend where native functionality can replace manual work or avoid unnecessary third-party tools.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap by sizing requests, surfacing trade-offs, and flagging when a quick win will create downstream cost.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to bring product data into Salesforce and make it usable for reporting and automation.
• Monitor and drive user adoption through training, enablement materials, and clear communication of platform changes.
• Maintain technical documentation so that solutions are understandable, supportable, and transferable across the team.

Your Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including significant time in Sales Cloud. Service Cloud and Experience Cloud/Partner Community experience is a strong plus.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator required. Advanced Administrator and/or Platform App Builder strongly preferred.
• Deep declarative expertise — Flow is your primary tool, and you know when a problem calls for Apex instead.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce security and sharing architecture: roles, profiles, permission sets, OWD, sharing rules, and field-level security.
• Hands-on Salesforce data management experience using Data Loader or similar, including bulk imports, upserts, deduplication, mass updates, and migrations.
• Comfortable writing SOQL and building reports — you can investigate a data question yourself rather than waiting on someone else.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce APIs, connected apps, and integration users, including the ability to diagnose common sync failure patterns. Familiarity with IPaaS such as Workato is a plus.
• Experience with release management and DevOps practices in a multi-sandbox environment, including UAT, regression testing, release validation, and source-driven deployment tooling such as Gearset.
• Experience in a revenue or GTM systems environment supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and/or Partner teams.
• Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to explain design trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated judgment around change management and governance — you ship carefully and document what you build.
• Ability to read Apex and understand triggers is a plus; writing it is not required.
