Sobre este puesto de Senior Product Manager en Wgsn

This is an on-site role out of our London office.
Working at WGSN
Together, we create tomorrow
A career with WGSN is fast-paced, exciting and full of opportunities to grow and develop. We're a team of consumer and design trend forecasters, content creators, designers, data analysts, advisory consultants and much more, united by a common goal: to create tomorrow.
WGSN's trusted consumer and design forecasts power outstanding product design, enabling our customers to create a better future. Our services cover consumer insights, beauty, consumer tech, fashion, interiors, lifestyle, food and drink, sports and outdoors forecasting, data analytics and expert advisory. If you are an expert in your field, we want to hear from you.
Role overview
As a Senior Product Manager you will lead a significant product area from strategy and discovery through delivery, launch and optimisation. You will identify the client problems that matter most, set clear outcomes and bring colleagues together across content, data, technology, design, commercial and client success to deliver measurable client and business value.
This is a hands-on product leadership role. You will move comfortably between client insight, product strategy, data, technical trade-offs, delivery detail, performance metrics and commercial decision-making. You will bring clarity to complex problems and drive an idea to adoption.
Key accountabilities
Set direction and own outcomes
-
Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for a high-impact product area, aligned with WGSN's wider product and business strategy.
-
Make thoughtful prioritisation decisions using client evidence, product data, commercial value, strategic fit and delivery effort.
-
Define success measures and actively manage product performance after launch, not simply delivery against a roadmap.
Understand clients and their workflows
-
Build a deep understanding of our clients, users, jobs to be done and processes.
-
Lead continuous discovery through client interviews, workflow observation, prototype testing, usage analysis and close partnership with commercial and client success teams.
-
Represent the client perspective while balancing user value, commercial impact, strategic advantage and technical feasibility.
Build data and AI-enabled products
-
Turn complex content and data into intuitive, trustworthy product experiences that help clients reach decisions and take action.
-
Work with data, engineering, design and subject-matter experts to define product requirements, data dependencies, quality standards and user experience.
-
Identify where AI, natural-language interfaces, automation, APIs or workflow integrations can create client value, and where simpler solutions are more appropriate.
Lead delivery and quality
-
Lead a cross-functional product team through discovery, definition, delivery, launch and iteration.
-
Set a clear product narrative, make decisions promptly and ensure teams understand the problem, intended outcome and relevant trade-offs.
-
Build quality into the product lifecycle through acceptance criteria, data validation, instrumentation, feedback loops and post-launch monitoring.
Drive adoption and commercial impact
-
Partner with product marketing, sales and client success to define positioning, packaging, launch plans, enablement and adoption activity.
-
Equip commercial teams to explain the client problem, differentiated value and evidence behind the product.
-
Monitor adoption, engagement, satisfaction, retention and commercial performance; use the evidence to guide iteration and investment.
Lead through influence
-
Create alignment across senior stakeholders with different perspectives, incentives and areas of expertise.
-
Communicate complex topics clearly, including the evidence, choices, risks and rationale behind product decisions.
-
Contribute to stronger product practice across WGSN through coaching, constructive challenge and practical improvements to how teams work.
Skills, experience & qualifications required
-
Strong product management experience, including ownership of a meaningful product area from strategy through launch and optimisation.
-
A track record of building successful B2B and B2C digital products; experience with subscription, data, insights, SaaS or workflow products is particularly relevant.
-
Evidence of solving complex client problems and translating ambiguity into a clear strategy, roadmap and delivery plan.
-
Excellent discovery skills and the ability to synthesize qualitative insight, behavioural data and commercial evidence.
-
Strong analytical judgement, including defining metrics, interpreting product performance and making evidence-based trade-offs.
-
The ability to work credibly with engineering, data and design teams, including on technically or data-intensive products.
-
Commercial understanding: you can connect product choices to differentiation, adoption, retention, expansion and revenue.
-
Clear, concise communication and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
Useful, but not essential
-
Experience with AI-enabled products, search, recommendations, natural-language interfaces or generative AI.
-
Experience with structured data products, APIs, data models, analytics platforms or workflow integrations.
-
Experience within fashion, beauty, retail, consumer intelligence, forecasting, research or another expert-content environment.
