Sobre este puesto de Senior Product Manager en Co–Star

Co–Star · Remoto · Remote: New York City preferred

Co–Star is hiring a Product Manager.

Most of the products we build don’t have obvious precedents. We need someone who can help the team navigate that uncertainty and turn ambitious ideas into products people actually use.

You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and content throughout the product development process, using tools like Claude Code to prototype concepts. You’ll help shape what we build next, keep the team focused, and move projects from early ideation to launch.

What you’ll do

Own major product initiatives, from defining the problem through launch and iteration.
Partner closely with design and engineering from early exploration through launch.
Write product requirements, set priorities, and keep projects moving.
Facilitate planning, reviews, and communication across the team.
Help the team make informed decisions through user research, data, experiments, and using Co–Star deeply yourself.
Go deep on important product questions when needed, whether that means conducting user research, designing experiments, or working through a difficult tradeoff.
Help the team decide what matters most and make smart calls about quality, scope, and speed.
Have a hand in where the product goes next, not just how we get there.

You might be a fit if

You’re roughly 7+ years in, and you’ve spent that time building consumer software people love to use.
You know how to create structure without weighing a team down.
You’re as comfortable writing a spec as you are talking to users or reviewing a prototype.
You can work from a half-formed idea and help it find its shape.
You have a point of view, but care more about getting the product right than being right.
Claude Code and Cursor are part of your workflow.
Work > ego

Sobre Co–Star

We’re hacking tech, culture, and consciousness to build new practices for self-reflection and deep connection.

FOUR YEARS AFTER LAUNCHING, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE DOWNLOADS CO–STAR EVERY 4 SECONDS. Big Sean has rapped about us, Ariana Grande & Kevin Durant post screenshots to their IGs, and we’ve been App of the Day twice. Merging 4,000 years of astrological tradition with NASA data interpreted by humans and assembled by machines, Co–Star decodes sky and earth to create a new model for relating to ourselves and each other.

WE’RE MERGING THE RESONANCE OF THE HUMANITIES WITH THE PRECISION OF TECHNOLOGY. Every day, we generate millions of hyper-personalized horoscopes using rules-based natural language generation that combines state-of-the-art AI models like GPT-3 with the insights of staff poets. Inspired by poetry, psychoanalysis, and astrology, Co–Star is the first synthetic text to be called wildly beautiful, brutally honest, or comparable to therapy.

IT’S STILL EARLY DAYS. We’re building out the social side of the app with features like your top friends for the day, a-synchronized messaging, and groups, developed in tandem with practicing group therapists. We've raised $21,000,000 from the people behind companies like Glossier, Twitter, and Discord to build thoughtful new features, increase reliability as we scale, and develop new models for humans & their relationships.
